Privacy Policy

Timeshare Travel Club Authority respects your privacy and aims to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate the website, provide requested resources, understand how the site is used, and communicate with readers.

This Privacy Policy explains the types of information TTCA may collect, how that information may be used, and the choices available to you.

Information We May Collect

Information you provide and information collected automatically

Depending on how you use TTCA, we may collect information in several ways.

Information you provide directly may include:

  • your name and email address when you request a TTCA resource or sign up for email delivery;
  • information you enter into the Timeshare Self-Review;
  • information you provide when contacting TTCA by email;
  • other information you voluntarily choose to provide.

Information collected automatically may include general usage and technical information such as:

  • pages viewed;
  • referring pages or websites;
  • general device and browser information;
  • approximate geographic information;
  • interaction with site features, links, and calls to action;
  • other analytics information typically collected through cookies or similar technologies.

Timeshare Self-Review

How Self-Review information is handled

The Timeshare Self-Review asks users to provide information about their ownership, usage, costs, booking experience, benefits, travel preferences, and related considerations.

Some information entered into the Self-Review may be stored temporarily in your browser so that the tool can function and preserve your progress.

If you choose to have your completed Self-Review emailed to you, selected result information may be transmitted to our email service provider so that the requested email can be generated and delivered.

Your Self-Review is not automatically shared with a referral or affiliate partner. You decide what information, if any, you choose to provide to a third party.

Email Communications

When you request a resource or subscribe

If you provide your name and email address to receive a TTCA resource, Self-Review access, or other email communication, that information may be stored and processed by our email service provider.

TTCA currently uses MailerLite to manage certain email signups and automated email delivery.

Emails may include the resource you requested, related TTCA information, or other relevant communications consistent with the signup context.

You can unsubscribe from marketing or ongoing email communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the email.

  • provide resources or information you request;
  • deliver Self-Review access or completed results;
  • operate, maintain, and improve the website;
  • understand which pages, tools, and topics are most useful to readers;
  • measure website performance and user interaction;
  • respond to questions, corrections, or business inquiries;
  • help prevent misuse, fraud, or technical problems;
  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations where applicable.

Cookies & Analytics

TTCA uses analytics to understand site usage

TTCA may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to support normal website functionality.

We may use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to collect aggregated or pseudonymous information about website activity.

This information helps us understand which pages are visited, how users navigate the site, and whether website features are working as intended.

Where available, cookie preferences may be managed through the site’s cookie-consent controls or through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

Some functions rely on outside service providers

TTCA may use third-party providers to support website hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, advertising, affiliate tracking, referral relationships, or other operational functions.

These providers may process information as necessary to perform the services they provide to TTCA.

When you leave TTCA and interact directly with another website or service, that third party’s own privacy policy and data practices apply.

Affiliate & Referral Links

Some outbound links may use tracking

Some affiliate or referral links may include tracking information that allows a third party to determine that a visitor arrived through TTCA.

This type of tracking is generally used to attribute referrals, commissions, or other commercial activity.

For more information about TTCA’s commercial relationships, review our Affiliate Disclosure.

Sharing of Information

TTCA does not sell your personal information

TTCA does not sell personal information to third parties.

Information may be shared with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the website, deliver requested communications, process analytics, maintain security, or perform other legitimate operational functions.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, or integrity of TTCA or others.

Data Retention

Information is retained only as reasonably needed

TTCA and its service providers may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, maintain records, operate the website, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or support legitimate business purposes.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the system in which it is stored.

Security

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system is risk-free

TTCA takes reasonable measures to protect information handled through the website and the services we use.

However, no website, email system, data transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Please do not submit passwords, full financial-account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information through TTCA unless a specific secure process expressly requests it.
